Oscillate

os-cil-late
Verb [intans.]
1) move or swing back and forth at a regular speed

We spend our entire life oscillating between extremes.
Addiction/Sobriety
Poor/Wealthy
Sick/Healthy
Happy/Depressed
Loved/Unloved

unlike watches and metronomes we don't swing at regular speeds. The human rate of oscillation varies. On certain days we sit on the park bench and watch life as it seemly fast forwards around us. Other we leave the bench and we become the blur that is life. but from both ends we seem to be moving slowly and the people at the traverse end seem to be moving in fast motion. But even when we are in the watching those moving with us they always seem to be moving at a higher rate of speed for some unknown reason.
